Hello, I'm Jeff Kasper a New York based designer.
My interests are design enabled social innovation
and researching relationships between visual media,
culture and cities. I am a student at the City University
of New York, where I study art and the social sciences.
I have a range of experience in visual design for print,
such as posters and publications, illustration, design for
the web, assistant production design and art direction for
independent film as well as exhibition design and curation.
In 2011, I was invited to showcase my design portfolio at
the Art Directors Club, in addition to receiving multiple
accolades from The Creativity International Awards.
My winning designs were exhibited at the new Phoenix
Design Museum, in Phoenix, Arizona, during the AIGA
Pivot Design Conference.
I am currently a designer & project coordinator with
GREENSPACENYC, a project working to promote
sustainable urban life, through free public programming,
social media and online resources. In addition, I am a
social media intern and arts & culture contributor to
City Atlas, at the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities.
Recently I was a design, research, and writing contributor
to #searchunderoccupy an archive of creative and critical
work regarding Occupy Wall Street at The New School.
